Where do you seek me?

O servant, where dost thou seek Me?

Lo! I am beside thee.

I am neither in temple nor in mosque:
I am neither in Kaaba nor in Kailash:

Neither am I in rites and ceremonies,
nor in Yoga and renunciation.

If thou art a true seeker, thou shalt at once see Me:
thou shalt meet Me in a moment of time.

Kabir says, ‘ O Sadhu! God is the breath of all breath.’

~ Kabir

Kabir was an Indian weaver and mystic who preached an ideal of seeing all of humanity as one.

  1. Driving to church in a storm a brilliant rainbow surrounded us. I was reminded of the promises to Noah after the flood. Genesis 8 & 9.

When you see the rainbow remember God has promised
Seed time, harvest, cold and heat until the end of time.
    This is God’s covenant,
    Providence covenant.

Ian Day. Sing it to “Early one morning.”
