World Religion Day takes place each year on the third Sunday in
January, aiming to promote understanding and harmony between all
religions as well as peace and tolerance between peoples from different
backgrounds. It highlights the idea that the spiritual principles
underlying the world’s religions are harmonious, and that religion plays
a significant role in unifying humanity.
