A day of Spiritual Contemplation, Conversation, Song and Dance

Sat May 6th 10am to 4.30pm
organised by Herefordshire Interfaith group at The
Friends Meeting House Almeley Wootton, HR3 6PX

A chance to share a day full of spiritual thoughts and energy.

Conversation and contemplation lead by Pete Hulme and Brian Holley, Spiritual Dance and Song with Karim Hadden and Susanne Wombacher, Meditation with Venerable Choesang.

The local Quaker community have kindly offered us this special venue for the day.

Come and enjoy this peaceful space that has been a centre of Quaker contemplation since the mid 17th century.

Together we will seek to find our inner peace and share that wonderful energy with each other and our surroundings. We hope the day will be pleasant enough to spend some time in the beautiful garden

A vegetarian Mindfulness lunch will be supplied

(Those with very specific dietary requirements – please contact Venerable Choesang)

A bit more about the facilitators:
Venerable Choesang has been a Buddhist since the early sixties and was ordained by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She has spent many years both in retreats and studying Buddhism.
Karim and Susanne run workshops in the Dances of Universal Peace (a form of spiritual circle dance using sacred phrases from the world’s religious traditions) and devotional singing in Herefordshire, Birmingham and elsewhere. Susanne is a practising Catholic and Karim follows the path of universal Sufism.
Brian Holley  is a Quaker and retired trainer who helps deliver one-day workshops with the Kindlers team and is devoted to learning, teaching and writing about spiritual subjects.
Pete Hume  is a Bahá’í who worked for many years as a teacher of literature and a psychologist and is experienced in running workshops on spirituality.
