Walking in their footprints across a number of continents we will be hearing of inspiring experiences from pilgrims who have felt the wonder and deep inner feelings that spiritual traveling can bring.
Our speakers are:
Canon Andrew Mayes a Franciscan priest for 40 years, author, international teacher of spirituality and pilgrimage leader who will talk on the transformative patterns of Christian pilgrimage.
Zak Pandor a well-respected local Muslim prayer leader who will talk about the historical context of pilgrimage within Islam and his personal reflections on travelling to Mecca and Medina two of the oldest and most significant places in Islamic history.
In Addition Lama Choesang, Midge Ault and Kevin Devaney will share insights from their pilgrimage and retreat experiences and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your own experiences.
We will also be inviting you to take part in Footprints: a 30 min interactive pilgrimage exhibition experience organised by Catherine Lack
