Join us for a Zoom online talk on the work of the

Charity Children of Peace
facilitated by Herefordshire InterFaith
Tues 29th April 7 to 8pm (Arrive from 6.50pm)

In this time we feel for those affected by the conflict in Israel, Palestine and Gaza and particularly for children caught up in it. It is easy to feel impotent and helpless faced with such a tragic situation so we felt that we wanted to let you know about a charity with roots in Herefordshire that does positive work towards peace in the region and have arranged this talk by its founder and president Richard Martin.

From their website: “Children of Peace is a non-partisan charity organization for Israeli and Palestinian children, aged 4 – 17, and their communities. Our aim is a shared spirit and well-being through arts, education, health and sports. Working for peace, building trust, friendship and reconciliation. So future generations might live peacefully side-by-side. We don’t take sides.”

Richard Martin the founder and President says “In just twenty years Children of Peace has reached an important milestone. We are now the largest peace network across the Middle East and North Africa. We have helped many thousands of Israeli and Palestinian children through the arts, education, healthcare and sports.

We receive no financial support from governments, agencies or public bodies anywhere. We depend entirely on the kindness of individuals who support our work for peace and the protection of Israeli and Palestinian children caught up in this conflict. We welcome your generous donations and support. Thank you.”
